Imagine every country in Europe collects food and nutrition data differently — what people eat, how crops grow, what's in the food — but none of these databases talk to each other. It's like having 14 libraries with no shared catalog. FNS-Cloud connected all that scattered information into one open cloud platform so food companies, health researchers, and policymakers can finally see the full picture. They built three working demos covering agriculture, lifestyle nutrition, and diet-related diseases like obesity.

Food companies, health tech startups, and policymakers across Europe struggle with fragmented nutrition and agricultural data — every country collects information differently, databases don't connect, and getting a pan-European view requires months of manual data harmonization. This means slower product development, weaker market analysis, and policy decisions based on incomplete pictures.
