In the early period (2014-2016), Area Science Park focused on building its SME support infrastructure (KANT, MAKEOVER) while simultaneously entering the pre-commercial procurement space for environmental challenges (BRODISE). From 2017 onward, a clear shift emerged toward sustainable mobility and energy: they coordinated NOEMIX (e-mobility for public fleets) and SIMPLA (integrated energy planning), while maintaining the steady SME support work through recurring KAIROS projects. The procurement expertise also matured, moving from participant (BRODISE) to coordinator (POSIDON) in soil decontamination.
